Landon Lechner has been playing guitar for over 25 years, and has performed at events ranging from downtown pub crawls, to weddings, to battle of the bands. His passion for all things music, guitar, and electronic music production, alongside his wealth of knowledge on these subjects is apparent to those who have studied under him or to anyone who has ever simply talked shop with him. The clear, informative, and creative ways in which he teaches serve to dramatically elevate both his student’s skill level, and also the pure enjoyment they take in playing their instrument overall. He believes that practice happens much more often and much more effectively if presented in a fun way.

Landon’s music production experience goes back to 2000 to when he learned to program his first stand alone drum machine and 4-track cassette recorder. Once he discovered the near limitless musical possibilities that digital audio workstations like Propellerheads Reason, and Ableton Live afforded, there was no turning back. His love for computer technology, growing fascination with electronic music (and really precision in general) made electronic music production an ideal companion to his passion for guitar.

Not only will I teach you to play songs you’ve always wanted to play, but I will use those same songs to leverage teaching opportunities in order to explore the inner workings of the language that is music. In other words, you will be a shameless music nerd in no time, just like me!
